नेशनल गेम्स में उत्तराखंड को मिला पहला मेडल,दिलाने वाली ज्योति बागेश्वर जिले की हैं। वह अपने गृह जनपद में ही पुलिस में तैनात हैं।
38वें राष्ट्रीय खेलों में बुधवार को उत्तराखंड का खाता खुल गया। मार्शल आर्ट वुशु की चांगक्वान प्रतियोगिता में राज्य की ज्योति वर्मा ने कांस्य पदक जीतकर इतिहास रच दिया। 38वें राष्ट्रीय खेलों में राज्य को पहला पदक मिलने पर मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने बधाई दी है।
राज्य को पहला पदक दिलाने वाली ज्योति बागेश्वर जिले की हैं। वह अपने गृह जनपद में ही पुलिस में तैनात हैं। प्रतियोगिता में मणिपुर, मध्य प्रदेश, असम, गुजरात, छत्तीसगढ़, चंडीगढ़, बिहार, गोवा और उत्तराखंड ने प्रतिभाग किया। खेल मंत्री ने कहा, हमारे खिलाड़ियों ने प्रतियोगिता के लिए कड़ी मेहनत की है। उत्तराखंड की टीमें दूसरे खेलों में भी पदक जीतेंगी।
